Free event helps local businesses prepare for future outages with practical backup power solutions
The City of Golden will host a Business Power Resiliency Event on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1PM at Gnarly’s Theater in Downtown Golden. The event is free and open to all Golden-area businesses.
The event comes in response to the Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) that impacted Golden's business community in December 2025. Designed to help local businesses prepare for future outages, the event will connect business owners directly with contractors, equipment suppliers, and solution providers specializing in commercial backup power systems.
Real-world case studies featuring Colorado-based business installations will also be highlighted, giving attendees a practical look at the range of backup power solutions available and what implementation looks like at various scales.
